Nethercraigs Court Yellow Lines.jpg

Repaint the yellow boxes at Nethercraigs and Gleniffer Court car park

2025-11-26  •  No comments  •  rho251  •  Housing Officer  •  Paisley South

Parking is an issue at these buildings due to the number of residents and lack of parking spaces. Some residents are unable to park or will double park. There is an area outside of the garages which has faint yellow lines meant to prevent parking there. There is also an area where access is neccessary to Nethercraigs Court bin area which is also used for parking. The yellow lines would benefit from being redone to make it clear that there is now parking in these areas. If this could be paired with additional signage stating 'No Parking' for these specific areas.

2 paved/slabbed areas approx 16'x8', either side of the flat access gate. Tenants enjoyed doing this through the spring/summer but chair legs sank, particularly after rain.

Bin Area for 14 Achray Drive, Foxbar

2025-11-28  •  No comments  •  rho252  •  Housing Officer  •  Paisley South

14 Achray Drive currently have wheelie bins (6x grey, 6x blue and 6x green) which are kept at the side of the building. 16 Achray Drive have an allocated bin area and bulk waste bins. This is a much better practice and the bins are better kept at 16. If we could recreate this for number 14, it would take the bins away from the building and tidy up the bin area. This would require slabbing part of the grass area at the front and moving the existing metal fencing.

Grippers within the closes & stairs - Ard Road

2025-12-03  •  No comments  •  rho2534  •  Housing Officer  •  Renfrew & Gallowhill

When the weather turns cold as well as wet the inside of majority tenement closes within Kirklandneuk become very wet and slippery due to condensation etc. Looking for some sort of grippers to be put down on the stairs within all closes to prevent any potential accidents or falls as it is a risk to current tenants and owners. Requests have been submitted to repairs department but they have advised they will not do this.

The Oaks

A wide tarred or resin path coming from the double silver gates and leading to the seating area at the communal garden at the Oaks Sheltered housing complex.  I think a large path going from the double gates to the seating area would ensure all residents can access the area without going over the grass or residents gardens it would also be wheelchair accessible. The reason i'd like tarred or resin is to stop the issue of moss and weeds growing through and making it unsightly or dangerous for the elderly residents to walk on. I would also like to propose the path already there which comes from the communal lounge to the seating areas be replaced with a wider tarred or resin path for the same issues as already mentioned and the slabs underneath the benches replaced with same material to try and stop the yearly struggle of the ground becoming slippery for the residents.  I have used the resources availabe to me to tidy up the paths surrounding the areas however the funding needed for this project would be more than we have available.

Additional Parking at Nethercraigs Court

2025-11-26  •  No comments  •  rho251  •  Housing Officer  •  Paisley South

There is a grass area near the enterance road to Nethercraigs Court car park which could be removed and tarmacked to create additional parking spaces. The car park here is small and residents sometimes double park or use areas which are not designated for parking. It would be ideal to provide additional parking spaces by removing this grass area.
