We want to open a YI Reach project in Bridge of Weir
Written by the YI working groups:
The idea of expanding YI into a new area brings us so much excitement; we would love the opportunity to give young people like us, a place that feels like home. During the summer some yp joined the group, and they loved it here. YI becomes a place where we no longer feel like we must put on a brave face. We take our time to become comfortable, build trust, which the staff support, whilst helping us cope with anything we need. We gain many opportunities both fun and educational, we get to make friends and grow together, and most importantly be whoever you want to be, so why stop here. Let other yp have what we have in Linwood. Also, many of us want to work here when we're older so if it grows, we might get opportunities to do that! This is why we we think YI Reach is a great idea.
