Hammocks & Climbing- Even more fun to be had at camp

- £1,581.84

This project will give Scouts and Explorers aged 12 to 18 greater access to adventurous outdoor activities through the purchase of hammock camping and climbing equipment. Young people have identified these activities as priorities and funding will remove barriers to participation. The project will build confidence, resilience, independence and practical life skills while promoting physical activity, positive mental wellbeing and strong friendships. By enabling more regular outdoor experiences, young people will develop teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills, helping them become more confident, capable and connected members of their local communities.
