Gleniffer Coaching Academy will help 20 local S4 pupils become qualified sports leaders and role models within their community. Young people will receive a coaching hoodie and t-shirt, gain a recognised coaching qualification, explore a range of sports including football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, racket sports and dodgeball, and complete 50 hours of volunteering. The project removes financial barriers, develops confidence and leadership skills, and creates opportunities for young people to gain experience that supports future education, employment and volunteering. Participants will help deliver activities in schools and community settings, creating a lasting benefit for young people across Gleniffer.
