Hi! There should be a communal area outside the maisonettes and laundrette at Calside as there is a huge empty block and it is all brick and overgrown with moss and weeds. There should be benches and maybe a gate of some sort to enter and sit, even while you wait for your washing to be finished. The other sitting area seems to be connected to the laundrette it would be nice if we could have one here. It just looks silly with all of that empty space, it looks unfinished and empty.

The space could also benefit from having a covered bike area for the tenants to store their bikes as right now there is nowhere to do that. To store your bike you either have to store it at home, on the banisters outside your flat or in the stairwell but there is no lock on the door so you are at risk of it being stolen. A bike shed shelter would benefit not only the tenants but the area as it will make empty spaces look fuller.

Some benches at the grass areas would be lovely as it would be nice not to have to walk all the way to brodie park for some people to sit down on a bench and enjoy some fresh air.
