These would allow residents with mobility issues to get out and about without the hassle of having to manoeuvre their scooters in and out of their homes, through fire doors and in and out of the lifts.
This would allow more social interactions and promote greater independence for scooter users as simple tasks like going to the local shops would be much easier to manage.
