Project Description

The communal gardens at Glencairn Court is a very valuable space that provides residents a place to sit and relax and socialise, and enjoy the environment. The exisitng benches have become worn and damaged over time, making them less attractive, and potentially becoming unsuitable for regular use. 

I would like to remove the old benches (4 of them) and replace with 4 durable benches in same location. New seating would improve comfort, safety and accessibilty for residents, and making the area more appealing. 

I would also like to add 2 new planter benches combining seating and planting area. This would help make the area more attractive, and encourage residents to spend more time outdoors. It will help promote the wellbeing and health of residents, by encouraging social interaction. 

The garden is a valuable asset for the resident and we want to make full use of it.
