i have stayed in cartside for over 25 years now and for as long as i can remember the gardens have remained the same for us all. some are hard to maintain due to the unatural shape of the ground and alot are infested with weed bushes and rats. most wooden fences havent been replaced since they have been installed by the looks of them and most are no longer structurally safe, especially if a storm can take them down now. i have spent over 5 years requesting the council take action and fix the gardens so they are usable for all tenants and not just some but after phone calls its is left to the tenants to fix and maintain the council garden areas. 

Gardens need the weed bushes removed from every garden. they are just a place for rats and other pest to hide, looks very unpleasant, and the biggest pain on garden maintenance there is.

some gardens need rebalanced so there are smoother for tenants to get the actual use of them and be able to maintain them.

Parking has also been a big issue here more people are driving now and the roads dont get bigger. the back gardens in cartside avenue and surrounding are very big and the front gardens have more than enough space to fit cars there. if it be possible to remove the front gardens and replace them with driveways for each building would help cut down the parking on the pathways and provide more space for cars to pass in the street. no one should have to pay for permission for a driveway especially when there is to many cars on the street and far too big of gardens that could be restructured for the present and future.
