Grippers within the closes & stairs - Laggan/Moidart/McClue/Morar Streets

2025-12-15  •  No comments  •  rho2534  •  Housing Officer  •  Renfrew & Gallowhill

When the weather turns cold as well as wet the inside of majority tenement closes within Kirklandneuk become very wet and slippery due to condensation etc. Looking for some sort of grippers to be put down on the stairs within all closes to prevent any potential accidents or falls as it is a risk to current tenants and owners. Requests have been submitted to repairs department but they have advised they will not do this.

Paint external buildings

2025-11-21  •  No comments  •  rho2513  •  Housing Officer  •  Paisley North

I would like to request that the buildings not included in the current regeneration programme be painted so they visually align with the newly regenerated buildings.

Improving their appearance will help the area look more cleaner, more cohesive and well cared for. At the moment these unpainted

Slabbed bin area at Rowan Court

Create a slabbed area for the recycle bins which is accessible to residents but away from the buildings for fire safety. Slabbed area would have surrounding fence to contain bins.  Bins are currently located on paved areas next to the lock ups and blocking the path used by the residents.

Roughcast Flats at Fulton Crescent

2025-12-18  •  No comments  •  rho2529  •  Housing Officer  •  Johnstone & Villages

This would provide the area with a updated look. If the buildings (including numbers 1/2/3/5/7/8) were roughcasted it would match the private buildings which have been upgraded.

Morar Drive - Access Paths

2025-12-19  •  No comments  •  rho253  •  Housing Officer  •  Paisley South

The paths here are covered in moss and can become slippery. It would be ideal to have all of the access paths at the front and back of the buildings scraped to remove any moss and jet washed to clear and debris and make the paths safer. Some paths are worse than other but would like this project to be completed from 1-33 Morar Drive, Paisley.

Clean and re-paint close & remove bin shed and install slabs in back garden

2025-12-12  •  No comments  •  johnstone.hps@renfrewshire.gov.uk  •  Johnstone & Villages

Doing a full close clean and re-paint close of 47 Sycamore Avenue. Also, remove the bin shed in the back garden and install slabs. The bin sheds are not being used and can be used for flytipping which causes rodent issues.
