Summary

All closes could be doing with being cleaned and repainted. The area would a lot more desirable.

Description

Closes are dirty looking with paint flaking off the walls. There are cobwebbs in around the ceilings of the closes. These buildings would massively benefit from a full clean and fresh paint throughout.

32 & 50 Macdowall Street, Johnstone.

  • I fully support this project to clean and repaint the closes at 32-50 Macdowall Street. These spaces are the first thing residents and visitors see, and their current state—dirty, with peeling paint and cobwebs—detracts from our community's pride and safety. A fresh, deep clean would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also boost mental health, making Johnstone feel more welcoming and vibrant. It's a modest investment at £5,000 that could inspire further improvements. Let's prioritize this for a tidier, healthier neighborhood where everyone can thrive. Vote yes!
