Bonnie Bishopton bid for Christmas Lights and this bid succeeded but funds did not permit the full length of Greenock Road, within the village, to be lit. A significant stretch of the western end remains without lights. This has caused some resentment within the community. Bonnie Bishopton’s core aim is to enhance the main thoroughfare through the village. The group has therefore an interest in getting additional lights to complete the coverage.Project Description

Location: Western end of Greenock Road, Bishopton
Proposed on behalf of: Bonnie Bishopton. BB is a group of volunteers established in 2021 to enhance the village’s main thoroughfare (Greenock Road). Planters have been installed together with benches, and flower beds created, all maintained by the volunteers.
