Make as many homes as energy efficient as possible! Wipe out fuel poverty! Give priority to disabled & elderly tenants by bringing their homes into the 21st century. Address cold, damp housing which should now be a thing of the past! Dampness kills & makes people ill especially those who are elderly & disabled.

Project Description

Firstly the project should address tenants who are disabled & elderly. Every council should be aware of such vulnerable people who live in their properties.  Secondly, a home visit to these vulnerable tenants to ensure their housing needs are being met; that they are not living in cold, damp conditions! This responsibility should not just be with fuel providers.  Thridly, address those vulnerable tenants who require urgent energy efficiency upgrades & provide them with warm home with no dampness. Cold, damp spores should be a thing of the past!

Fourthly, address tenants with children & established that there is no cold, damp conditions in their properties! Dampness causes illness & death & wiping it out should be made top priority for every council so let's make Renfrewshire council be the first to give this issue top priority & make safe every home! No one should live with cold, damp conditions!

Lastly send letters to vulnerable tenants, give them a voice on matters concerning these awful conditions!
